Fuel prices to go up in Ghana Today, Jan 16

According to reports from Graphics Ghana, The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has revised upwards the prices of petroleum products with effect from Thursday, January 16, 2014.

The price of petrol has been increased by over 6 percent. It sells at 233.00 pesewas per litre.

Kerosene saw the highest increase of over 19 percent and Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is also gone up by 8.73 percent.

The current ex-pump price for Gas oil is 226 pesewas a litre, the new price will now be 242 pesewas per litre.

Premix fuel, however, saw no change in price. It will still sell at 116.00 pesewas a litre.
