Accra Goes Dry Following Burst Pipeline

It has been a big challenge leaving in Ghana for the past 5-10 months, Inflation has hit the country so hard that this month, your utility bill is $40, the next month you get to pay $60 over the same consumption.

Now you face Light-off frequently and before you know it you have to buy a bag of pure water for $1.5 just to take a shower (if you are a student) or pay for water delivery just because of one issue or the other.

Recently there has been water shortage in Accra and some residents are compelled to walk long distances, while others join long winding queues at various places for water.

This shortage started last Thursday, although the situation might improve today, as officials of the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) were seen feverishly replacing an HDPE pipe along the transmission line from the Weija Water Treatment Plant to the Awoshie Water Works according to Daily Graphic who visited the place yesterday.

I hope for the sake of all, they keep to their word as well as finding a permanent solution to this.....

Rihanna Makes Cover of Vogue USA’s March 2014 Edition For The Third Time Running

In less than 5 years, Rihanna has been on Vogue's front page for three times. Here is what she had to say during an interview, “If I am wearing a top, I do not wear a bra, if I am wearing a bra, I am just wearing a bra."

“She also says “I love baggy things. I wear men’s clothes, men’s shoes, oxfords, creepers. When I was thirteen or fourteen, I did not want to wear what my mum wanted me to wear. I was very much a boy in my style, my demeanor. All my friends were guys. I loved things that guys did. I loved being easy with my clothes. I loved wearing scarves, hats and snapbacks on my head. It was my way of rebelling. I wanted to dress like my brother. After a while, it was just easier for my mum to dress us both the same. We wore the same jeans and the same T-shirts”

A Man jailed for posting ex-girlfriend’s nude pictures on facebook

Now this is one of the things i love about Ghana, they might be facing some serious economic issues, but their morals are still intact.

In accra, a 24-year-old student, Henry Alibah posted his ex-girlfriend’s nude photographs on social media platform “Facebook,” was sentenced to six months imprisonment by a circuit court in Accra.

Alibah decided to post the picture after his ex-girlfriend had informed him she wanted to quit their two-year relationship.

Handing down the sentence the trial judge, Ms Ellen Vivian Amoah, said the social media platform in recent times had been used to inflict emotional and psychological pain on people adding the most affected were women and girls.

According to the court posting of nude pictures which it also referred to as a cyber bully had also been used by people as a form of black mail.

I think this is the best way to handle the growing occurrence of innocent girl's nude photos online.

Beware and be-warned....  Ezy said so....

Jose Mourinho, Calling This Barcelona The Worst in History Was A Mistake

I took the liberty to write this post in response to my dear Jose Mourinho. He called my Barcelona the worst in history, well I hope he is happy with his comment now.

Having gone through a tough run against Barca in spain, I was surprised to read your comment this morning, but then again you are the king of the press.

Calling Wenger a specialist in failure before their FA Cup tie against Liverpool was one to wonder about. Who is in the FA Cup Q-finals now?

Jose does not know when to stop with his silly comments but then again, that is where his power lies.

Just maybe if Jose had one or two things to learn from the so called worst Barcelona ever, he might have qualified for the FA Cup 6-Rounds.

No doubt this is now Barca at their best, But calling us the worst ever is just wrong. My advice to you Mou, shut up and face you game, you have a lot to worry about, trust me you do.....
