EXCLUSIVE!!!! A Nigerian Stabbed To Death In Central Region, Ghana (Ghraphic Photo)

The early morning of June 2nd brought bad news to Nigerians in Ghana and close friends of Mr Ifeanyi.

Mr Ifeanyi living in Kasoa, Central Region of Ghana had an argument with a Ghanaian, and the next morning as he came out of his house to ease himself, the same guy he had issue with stabbed him four times and he died.

The President of the Nigerian Community and Embassy staffs as well as the Igbo Community Chairman moved in immediately to ascertain the level of things and to also see the dead body that was already deposited at the mortuary. As it stands, the Police have taken over investigations but its very painful how slow this is going and the culprit is yet to be arrested and prosecuted according to law. This is like the third time such killings would be happening in that region not to mention several other Nigerians that have been killed unjustly in other parts of the country.

All Nigerian Community PRO, Comrade Barry Ndu Nwaihim has urged Nigerians to remain calm as the community will look to the matter and make sure the person responsible is brought to the book.

His Words:
I would lead a peaceful demonstration to the Flag Staff House, seat of Ghana Government if this killing of Nigerians in Ghana do not stop.

We use this opportunity to once again call upon the Ghana Police, BNI and all other relevant security agencies to move in quickly to solve this matter. We ask that the culprit be arrested and duly prosecuted according to law.

Nigeria and Ghana have come a long way and such indecent happenings should not be allowed for any reason. We are meant to co-exist as one people, brothers and sisters from same Africa.

The President of the Nigerian Community have urged for calm assuring that the Nigerian Community Executives would go the full length to get to the root of this matter.

His Words:
Personally, i urge all my fellow Nigerians in Ghana to be very cautious of the relationship we keep here in Ghana. Life is too golden to have unnecessary quarrels with people. Lets mind our diverse interactions with people and focus diligently on what brought us to this great Nation.
