Nigerians in Malaysia took to the streets to protest against what they call extortion, torture and abuse of Nigerian nationals by Malaysian police and immigration officers. They marched to the Nigerian embassy and accused officials of refusing to issue or renew their passports when needed. They also said the ambassador has completely abandoned them to their fate which has made Malaysian police mistreat Nigerian nationals in the country.
