IN MY NEIGHBOURHOOD: Exchange of gunfire still going on with helicopter gunship hovering over the Aso Drive neighbourhood of Maitama adjoining the SSS Headquarters. Whatever this is, it appears more serious than an attempted jailbreak claimed by the SSS. May God Protect the innocent and destroy the murderers, kidnappers and planners of genocide, Amen.

Prof Aryeetey Has Been Re-appointed University of Ghana Vice Chancellor

University of Ghana Vice Chancellor, Prof Ernest Aryeetey has been re-appointed for a second term in Office.

His first tenure ends in July this year. Prof Aryeetey’s re-appointment was decided at the University Council’s meeting on Thursday March 27, 2014.

Prince William and Kate release new portrait with Prince George

Prince William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, released their latest family portrait late Saturday, just over a week ahead of Prince George's first trip abroad.

The portrait captures the royal family at their home in London's Kensington Palace March 18. Kate holds the 8-month-old George as he looks upon the family dog, Lupo, being held by William, as the parents look out the window frame.
