Petrol And Gas Prices Goes Down In Ghana

Report in ghana is that:
The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has announced reduction of 1.57 per cent in the price of petrol and 2.49 per cent in the price of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG).

According to the NPA, the revised ex-pump prices for all products were to be effective from Wednesday, October 16, 2013.

The new downward review is the second to have been done in a month following last month’s review of four per cent in the price of super (petrol).

A statement issued in Accra yesterday by the Public Relations Manager of the NPA, Mr Yaro Kasambata, said while prices for kerosene and gasoline remained unchanged, Aviation Turbine Kerosene price had been reduced by 0.13 per cent.

Mr Kasambata entreated the public to insist on the new changes when buying at the pump.
He also charged operators to adhere to the new directives and effect the changes accordingly.
Hope this reduces the inflation going on at the moment.
