All Nigerian Community Eastern Region Visits Eze Ndigbo Gburugburu 1 of Ghana
It was indeed a historic day in the life of Nigerians
especially those from the Eastern Region of Ghana, as delegate from the region on the 22nd of september 2013 became the first Region in Ghana to pay an official visit to the Palace of the Number One Igbo citizen in Ghana.
A day after electing the New Executives of the All Nigerian Community
Ghana, represented by the President ANC E/R Emmanuel Ebuka, Vice President
Ezekiel Akpan, Financial Secretary ANC Ghana Moses Enejoh and Member Bayo Kuku,
the Region paid a honorary visit to the Palace of His Royal Majesty Eze
Geoffrey N. Mokwugwo (Eze Ndigbo Gburugburu 1 of The Republic of Ghana). On
arrival, His Majesty welcomed them in the Traditional Igbo way as He prayed and
blessed their presence.
After the welcome speech from the Eze, a purpose of the
visit was stated by the President with further contribution from the Financial
Secretary, Vice President and the Delegate as the Eze was made to realize the
potentials of the Region and the Nigerian Community residing there. The Eze
declared his joy with the visit and also declared interest to accept any invitation
which would come from the Community.
