The Argentine forward has today taken to twitter to admit making contact with chelsea's david luiz.
Footage of the match caught aguero with a high two-footed tackle in the FA Cup semis at wembley.
He tweeted: "I've contacted @DavidLuiz_4 and apologized for what happened during the match. It was an impulse reaction that shouldn't have happened."
