Egypt is not safe to host Black Stars, Says Ghana FA boss
Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi insists Egypt is unsafe to host next month’s Brazil 2014 World Cup playoff return leg. The Black Stars are expected to travel to Cairo to face the Pharaohs on 19 November after a comprehensive 6-1 win in the corresponding fixture. The Ghana FA wrote to FIFA requesting the match be moved to a neutral ground and the world’s football governing has set an 28 October deadline to take a decision.
Last Sunday, Egyptian police clashed with hundreds of students staging an anti-military protest at Cairo’s Al-AzharUniversity. Reports say the students had blocked the main road leading to the campus and threw rocks as security forces also fired tear gas to disperse them.
”My strongest conviction is that the match should be moved away from Cairo because I think security is seriously compromised in Cairo and the situation keeps escalating day in day out,” Nyantakyi told an Accra-based Joy FM. ”We cannot risk the lives of our players, officials and supporters by going to Cairo, I do not think that any life lost is replaceable and so in the interest of fairness and security it is better for FIFA to look outside Egypt for a venue for the match.”

"Nigerians don’t appreciate their own", Says Beverly Osu
In an interview with Encomium Magazine, Bev went on to deny allegations that she appeared on a p*orn picture which was released and went viral five days ago. The picture featured a young lady who look exactly like her, the lady was engaged in some sexual act that made Nigerians conclude that Beverly acted in a p*rn movie.Interview:
On Thursday, October 17, 2013, two pictures went viral depicting you had actually acted in a real porn movie, what’s your take on that?
I saw the pictures too. Sincerely, looking at the pictures they really look like me and they are not photoshop. I was, ‘Oh, my God!’ I can’t deny the fact that they look like me but it’s not me. If they were photoshop I would have just ignored it but it’s real. I don’t know who the person is but it’s exactly like me. However, those who know me very well can depict the truth that it’s not me.They can do what they want to do but it would only make me stronger.Nigerians don’t appreciate their own. It doesn’t happen like that internationally. They appreciate their own. When I went to Tanzania, I know how they gave me a celebrity welcome. I think we should just start with our own. I just lost my grandmother and my mum and I are looking for ways to give her a befitting burial. It’s not easy, I am just trying to keep calm.
