Court orders arrest of Ms Malaika 2006 for stealing

An Accra Circuit Court has ordered the arrest of Hamamat Montia, the Winner of 2006 Miss Malaika Beauty Pageant for failing to appear before it.

Ms Montia, who is also a businesswoman has been charged with stealing.

She has been accused of stealing an unregistered Toyota Highlander 2008 model belonging to one Versa Keskinen, a Finnish national.

When the matter was called Ms Montia was not in court.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) C. K Abadamlora prayed the court for a bench warrant to arrest Ms Montia.
