I am A witch -Akua Donkor

The founder and leader of Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akua Donkor, the woman who never ceases to surprise Ghanaians, has revealed that she is a witch. 

The controversial female politician made this shocking revelation at the 3rd edition of the annual Legends and Legacy Ball which took place at the Accra International Conference Centre over the weekend.

“Yes I am a witch,” Akua Donkor told No Tribe’s Nacy as he performed A.B. Crentsil’s ‘Devil’ hit song.

Later in an interview, she told

NEWS-ONE in an exclusive interview that she is a witch when it comes to politics in Ghana, and as the ‘Devil’ song says, she wants to use her witchcraft in politics to do great things in this country rather than destroy it.

“Like our brother A.B. Crentsil said in his song, we have to use our talent or whatever gift we have to develop our country not to destroy it. When I manage to become president, I will use my witchcraft to make everything free,” Akua Donkor stated.

Ayariga Grabs Akua Donkor

Meanwhile, during the event which was meant to celebrate Ghanaian highlife mogul A.B. Crentsil for his contribution toward the genre, flagbearer for People’s National Convention (PNC) in the 2012 presidential election, Hassan Ayariga quickly grabbed Akua Donkor to dancing floor as hiplife artiste Castro performed the famous ‘Adwoa’ song to honour the legend.

Both politicians who are known to most Ghanaians for their comic nature threw the various dignitaries present at the event—such as former President John Agyekum Kufuor, Nene Mike Gizo and legendary musician Smart Nkansah—into hilarity as they (Ayariga and Akua) displayed their dance moves.

The concert powered by Imajin Adverting is an annual event aimed at paying homage to music legends who have churned out good tunes over the years, making Ghana’s music industry what it is today.

Albert Benjamin Crenstil thrilled the charged audience to back-to-back tunes from his various albums.

He was compelled to sing his controversial ‘Moses’ song after several cheers from the crowd to do so.
