What Would You Do If You Find Yourself In A Sexless Marriage

The longer a couple goes without being intimate, the more ambivalence they will feel. It's like a vicious cycle, and this only increases the lack of trust, the awkwardness and the subsequent distancing. Resistance to talking about the problems and to exploring ways to be intimate only puts greater stress on the relationship.

If your marriage is suffering from a lack of sex, consider these tips to help get the intimacy back into your relationship.

1. Rule out medical problems.

First, it's necessary to medically rule out physical causes such as side effects of chronic illness or medications as well as age-related issues. Sexual problems in marriage can also be related to incompatibility in sex drives. The contributing factors are not insurmountable.

2. Think about counseling.

A sexless marriage is usually a sign of more serious problems in the relationship—lack of trust, unresolved anger, deep resentment, one partner having an affair or with one foot emotionally out of the marriage. If efforts to discuss the problems are too uncomfortable, frustrating or going nowhere, seeing a couples’ therapist may very well shed some light on the problems.

3. Know each other's needs.

Compatibility of goals—both inside and outside the bedroom—is important, as well as the freedom to talk about what the partners both need and want. For some couples, control and withholding sex is one way to have the upper hand. If other problems in the relationship aren't attended to, the anger and hurt take away the desire to be close or even try to make it work.

4. Consider gender differences.

Another contributing factor can be the hard wiring differences that surface between men and women around a lot of issues—communication, support, problem solving and, yes, sex too. Men often view sex as the intimacy in a relationship and making love is when they feel closest to their partner. Women, on the other hand, need to feel the intimacy before opening themselves up emotionally. It takes some understanding of these dynamics and a willingness to work together so both partners can feel loved and satisfied.

My wife’s ex-boyfriend is the father of our three(3) children.

This story was culled from Ghana Vibe:
Husband of an Accra-based popular fashion designer said his legally married wife has revealed that her ex-boyfriend is the father of their three children.
Ernest Kofi Essah, 33, disclosed this on Asempa FM ‘s programme, “Abrabo” hosted by Maame Akua. The couple, after six years of marriage, has three children: the first child is almost 5 years; the second, 3; and the third child is nineteen months old.

According to him, his wife, [name withheld], abandoned him for her ex-boyfriend the very day he confronted her on phone for staying out late. His action, Essah noted, did not go down well with the wife’s lover, who confronted him for daring to query her [wife] for visiting him [ex-lover].

Mr. Essah said he was shocked to hear from his wife’s lover that he has been seeing his wife ever since he returned from overseas, years ago. The fashion designer is said to be currently living with her lover, who is now claiming paternity of the three children.

The mother of the abandoned husband, who gave her name only as Eno Mary, also emotionally narrated on “Abrabo”, how she was not in support of her only surviving son’s marriage to the fashion designer.

According to Eno Mary, her son changed entirely towards her since he got married to the lady in question.

She said, she never heard of a quarrel between her son and her daughter-in-law until she was informed about this shameful incident.

She has therefore advised her son to let go his wife and move on with his life.

"Black is beautiful", KKD Tells Yvonne Nelson To Tone Down On The Bleaching

It is no news again that Yvonne is becoming lighter in complexion even though the weather condition in ghana is becoming hotter by the day.

KKD had a fall out with her in that aspect as he goes on to advice that she and probably other young African beauties should be proud of their skin.

My question is, how many whites do you see trying to tan their skin to become blacks? Again it is a question of choice, but i believe you know there are some side effects to this, just as KKD explained.

Mr. Darkwah took to social media to put out what may be a senior brother’s advice to a little sister.

He said:

“Black is beautiful. Love the skin you are in. If you have bad rashes, deal with them through a doctor and his/her medical prescriptions. But please SAY NO TO BLEACHING!

Many otherwise pretty women today have weak skins on burnt faces, bosoms, arms, thighs and legs caused by the bleaching they denied they were doing in their youth.

As global warming makes our part of the world even hotter, and skins in tropical climes get darker to better protect us from the harsh rays of the sun, daughters of a proud black nation that spearheaded the independence revolution south of the unforgiving Sahara desert are getting quizzically lighter. Hmmmm.

Whilst bleaching remains off the radar in many educated & well-to-do African and Caribbean homes, it is saddening that the poor, illiterates in dire need of any passing act to imitate may just photocopy this needless practice of bleaching to the point where their elbows and knees will be nearly opposite in complexion to their cheeks and bosoms. Men, women, boys and girls are equally gullible as evidenced by some performers and their herd of sheep.

BLACK COMES IN MANY BEAUTIFUL SHADES AND HUES; FROM THE DEEPEST EBONY AND MAHOGANY TO THE RICHEST CHOCOLATE AND THE SOFTEST CARAMEL. FROM THE BEAUTIFUL AND DIGNIFIED LUPITA NYONG’O, THE DARK AND LOVELY INI EDO AND EMELIA BROBBEY THROUGH THE SWEET AND SEXY JACKIE APPIAH AND MARTHA ANKOMAH, THE CLASSY MRS BEYONCE CARTER, MRS AFUA AMOAH AMOFAH AND HALLE BERRY TO THE HAPPY JULIET IBRAHIM AND TRACEE ELLIS ROSS AND MANY MANY MORE POPULAR AND UNKNOWN.

It is possible to be born this way and to LOVE THE BLACK YOU ARE IN.

As for the drunk who refuses to heed the barman’s caution about another one for the road, he still has a homeward journey and the whole of tomorrow to contend with. Skin, like hips, dont lie. Ask the blessed Michael Jackson. Time will tell.”
